redirections
So yeah, I do this every time, make a new blog, grow tired, change something, start again. so eff it. This is my “new” blog, free space, where I’m gonna post everything, pictures, videos, playlists, coffee-musings, whatever I’m in the mood for. So, be ready for more posts about everything soon ;D
V60!
Okey, that’s it, I’ll stop beeing sceptical to things before I’ve tried them. It happened to the aeropress (nah, don’t like it, I’ll stick with my french press), then to the V60 (nah, don’t like it, I’ll stick with my aeropress). Now my set-up includes the hario skeleton-grinder, the aeropress and a v60, and I love them. (I also got a french press for...
espresso

Now after nearly a century we have had our espresso palette benchmarked around these coffees. We build blends using Brazils to attain a certain taste, that is just echoing the Italian styles and blends. If you weaned someone onto espresso using only single origins,...
Roasting +
In coffee, roasting, cupping, buying and brewed coffee are my main passions. I do love working as a barista, mking espresso and drinks, interacting with the customers and the busy social coffeebar-setting, don’t get me wrong! “Regular” coffee is just where my true passion lies. Economy and coffee
Not in a “coffee is the next biggest export good” etc, way - but in a personal economy and coffee-beans and -equipment. Coffee is in no way a big spend unless you venture into espresso (machine, grinder and the amazing quantity of beans spent and wasted). Coffee-beans for home-brewing are actually pretty cheap concidering… say you buy your beans from english Square Mile. You pay...
A quick thought
You know you have some successful entities in the coffee-industry when you are going to buy a product and has a moral dilemma on who to buy it from, because you love both places and both places have been awesome at helping you aquire the thing you want. So a big HUGE thanks to both Kaffa and Square Mile, both with AMAZING customer service and for beeing awesome in general, whoever I don’t...
Aeropress-notation # 1
Method: Inverted, 14 g - 30 sec steep, turn and press gently. grind slightly finer than filter.
Taste: Tasty and fat/oily mouthfeel, but towards the end the mouthfeel turned slightly grainy, like the bottom of a french press, with some sludge and a drier aftertaste. Might be because the coffee was slightly old and pre-ground (still waiting for my Skerton).
